With one week remaining of the landmark exhibition “Chinyee: Vibrant Echoes,” Alisan Fine Arts presents an exclusive concert by composer–soprano Lora Chow and cellist Angus Fong — an evening where painting meets performance, and colour finds its voice.
The programme opens with a curator-led exhibition tour by Associate Director Yelin Qiu, tracing Chinyee’s lyrical abstraction and the artist’s lifelong dialogue with gesture, rhythm, and nature. In the gallery, amid the works themselves, Lora Chow will perform an improvisation shaped by Chinyee’s painterly music — letting the rhythm of colour and gestural brushstrokes “sing” through classical lines and vocal agility. This live response is followed by an advance preview of highlights from Chow’s forthcoming album, a cycle attuned to the natural world — echoing the exhibition’s atmospheres of movement, breath, and return. Angus Fong joins on cello to deepen the timbre and draw the ear to texture, interval, and resonance within the space.
As a closing event for “Chinyee: Vibrant Echoes,” the evening offers a rare cross-disciplinary encounter: scores unfolding beside canvases, sound mapping the same fields that paint traverses — gesture into phrase, hue into harmony. 活動由藝倡畫廊副總監邱燁麟導覽揭幕，追溯青意抒情抽象藝術的脈絡，以及藝術家畢生與筆觸、節奏與自然的對話。隨後在展廳作品間，周曉晴將即興演繹受藝術家青意啟發的樂章──讓色彩的律動與筆觸的姿態透過古典旋律與聲樂技巧「歌唱」。隨即呈現周曉晴即將發行的專輯精選預覽，這套與自然世界共鳴的樂章呼應展覽中流動、呼吸與回歸的氣質。方晧晴以大提琴加入演奏，深化音色層次，引領聽眾感受空間中的紋理、音程與共鳴。
