Guo Pei: Fashioning Imagination is the first major exhibition in East Asia of celebrated Chinese couture artist Guo Pei (Chinese, born 1967), organised in close collaboration with the artist and her studio. The exhibition features more than 40 haute couture show pieces loaned from Guo’s atelier Rose Studio. They are placed in dialogue with works of art and design from the M+ Collections, creating a network of visual and thematic ideas across artistic practices and cultures. The exhibition showcases Guo’s creative universe through five main themes that highlight her international career and her unique design journey.
「郭培：藝想天開」是中國著名時尚藝術家郭培（中國籍，生於1967年）在東亞地區的首個大型作品展，由M+與郭培及其工作室合作策劃。展覽展出40多件郭培的原創時尚作品，這些由郭培的高級定製時尚工作室「玫瑰坊」借出的收藏級時尚藝術作品，與M+館藏中的藝術及設計作品展開交流與對話，貫通不同媒介、年代和文化的視覺創意及主題概念。展覽通過五大主題來展示郭培的創意世界，凸顯其跨越地域與文化的事業發展，並嘗試探索她的獨特創作歷程。
