Sin Sin Fine Art is delighted to present 2084—the world in 59 years. The solo exhibition by Michelle Fung explores speculative futures through intricate visual narratives. This exhibition features two of Fung’s five unfolding fantastical dystopian worlds: Contradictoria (Polluta), where air pollution is transformed into floating artist colonies, and Northlandia, a surreal Arctic land ruled by the Ice Queen. 2084 is a lifelong artistic project that constructs a grand ecotopian/dystopian world through five imagined nations, reflecting on the Anthropocene and contemporary geopolitical tensions. Blending satire, speculative fiction, and intricate visual allegories, 2084 serves as both a cautionary tale and a whimsical reimagining of the future, challenging our perceptions of reality, environmental crisis, and human agency.
