Objects of Play: Hoo Mojong Centennial Retrospective is the fifth instalment in the Contemporary Chinese Female Artist Series. This exhibition takes place during a significant moment: the centenary of Hoo Mojong’s birth. Hoo was born in Shanghai and left her hometown in her early 20s. Her extensive travels and residencies around the world not only enriched her personal experiences but also infused her artistic creations with multicultural inspiration. Objects of Play features nearly 100 artworks including paintings, prints, drawings, and archival materials, recapping her integration of Chinese and Western art styles and investigations of the power of ordinary life.
「玩．具：賀慕群百年回顧展」是現當代中國女性藝術家系列的第五個展覽。此次回顧展正值賀慕群誕辰一百周年的重要時刻。賀慕群出生於上海，20多歲時就旅居海外。廣泛的旅居經歷不僅豐富了她的個人閱歷，也為她的藝術創作注入了多元文化的靈感。是次展覽將全面梳理她的藝術創作，展出近100件作品，涵蓋油畫、素描、版畫、及珍貴檔案文獻。
